Veronica Mills-Has been working in Diabetes Education since 1995. Graduated in Health Science at James Cook University in 1993 and completed Bach Ed. also at JCU in 2001. -Post Graduate in Diabetes Education 1998.Veronica has been a credentialed Diabetes Educator since 1998 working in public and private areas and is the Director of consultant Diabetes company 'Diabetes on Track' . In 2012 she received four nominations for the JDRF Diabetes Educator of the year awards for ‘Excellence and Innovation’. Veronica completed her research masters degree this year and awaiting results. Special interest areas include: Type 1 diabetes, particularly pump therapy in paediatric patients and the use of technology as remote means to access ongoing diabetes self management and clinical care.
