Wendy A Davis

WENDY DAVIS is an epidemiologist and applied biostatistician with expertise in data linkage and health economics. She is currently a Research Associate Professor at the University of Western Australia. She has had research interests in diabetes since 1995 and in neuropsychiatric disorders and malaria since 2006. In diabetes, she is a chief investigator of the Fremantle Diabetes Study, a large-scale prospective study of diabetes in a community-based cohort which has been in progress since 1993 and which has produced more than 80 published papers. Her current research is focussed on the relationship between mental health and type 2 diabetes and predictors of diabetic complications.
