Karen is a registered nurse, midwife and diabetes educator. Fellow of the College of Nursing. Currently working at Diabetes Australia – Victoria for the last 7 years. Key areas of interest – health professional training on all areas of diabetes management; supporting the teachers who have young people with type 1 diabetes at their schools and preschools. Chair of the ADEA Course Accreditation and Standards of Practice Committee.
