Annette is the Healthcare Industry Lead Executive for IBM Australia / New Zealand and sees it as a happy marriage of her healthcare and IT knowledge leveraging both to improve the system.
Annette has been with IBM for 6 years focused on IBM Healthcare across Australia and New Zealand initially working with the IBM Software business as a Health Industry Solution Lead and now as IBM Healthcare Executive with a focus on transformational solutions in Healthcare . Annette works across the Health Sector looking for opportunities for customers to use ICT Transformational solutions to impact outcomes Australia/ New Zealand Health Systems.
As well as working with customers her roles requires her to work closely with business partners, Independent Software Vendor and system integrators to ensure IBM’s transformational healthcare solution capability and value proposition for customers is delivered.
Annette has experience in healthcare as well as the ICT Industries. With a Bachelor in Health Admin, a Bachelor of Science in Micro Biology & Bio Chemistry, experience as a registered nurse, operating theatre manager, clinical specialist, & health administrator (as well as sporting a Masters in both Commercial Law & Business Admin). Annette has healthcare (and a few other fields) pretty well covered. Annette moved away from healthcare for a time, working for 6 years with a leading Telco, as account director for a major bank and airline.
